Right self image is having humility in the sight of god 1 peter 5 6 11.

Love others as you love yourself. There is a healthy biblical way to love oneself. Proverbs 19 8 to acquire wisdom is to love oneself. In fact some people think jesus said you must love yourself before you can love others.

Love your neighbor as yourself. Love bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things. It is not arrogant or rude. Love does not envy or boast.

No other commandment is greater than these. Right self image is understanding our great need for god and his great love for us. Love your neighbor as yourself.
