What Size Wire To Run To Detached Garage

One question i have has to do with wire sizing vs.

I m trying to wire 100 amps service off of my house s 200 amp main panel to my detached garage that s only 15 ft away maybe a total of 25 30 ft of wiring away. The total length of the run is about 80 feet. Keep in mind that the type of wire will depend specifically on how the sub panel feed will be installed whether the cable will be in a conduit or direct buried.
