Through my own research where i interviewed hundreds of people about their childhoods this has proven to be true over and over again.
Psychologists say that the chances of it happening to a woman becomes high if said woman has unmet goals in life. A midlife crisis in women is basically a period of transition of identity and usually occurs between the ages of about 45 and 65. An often dreaded period of time that conjures up images of a harley mounted silver haired 50 something man or woman riding off into the sunset with a younger partner. The duration of a midlife crisis for a woman varies from woman to woman.
Women were disoriented and disappointed by relational changes and men by career changes. For smart goal driven women a mid life crisis isn t about recovering lost youth. This situation doesn t happen to everyone. It s often thought of a psychological crisis triggered by an awareness of age and mortality.
During her early 40s when her woman starts evaluating her life she may realize the following factors which can be some major triggers for a midlife crisis to set in her life. Reaching middle age usually means a few major life adjustments retirement a newly empty nest or health changes. Ultimately it will depend on the woman and her way of handling that period of crisis. It could last anything from as low as 2 3 years to as high as 5 years.

It s about discovering the application of their greatness. How she handles it will largely determine and define how long it will last for her. As more women pursue careers and become. Sometimes it means all of the above or a slew of different changes entirely.
