In plants the style is the long slender stalk that connects the stigma to the ovary. Slender structure known as the style. The function of the style in a flower is to connect the stigma to the ovary. The stigma is sticky but the anthers are grainy and covered with pollen.
One major function of the style is to assist with fertilization by being the location where pollen tubes. The style is connected to the ovary and inside the ovary is the ovule.
